Tata AIG Medicare Protect is a simplified and comprehensive Health Insurance plan.

Highlight:

Covers expenses upto 20,000 related to a round trip economy class air ticket, or first-class railway ticket, to allow the Immediate Family Memberto be at insured person's bedside during his stay in the hospital.
Covers 100% of sum insured in the event of death of insured person due to accident. This benefit is not applicable for dependent children covered in the policy
Covers expenses for hospitalization due to disease/illness/lnjury during the policy period that requires an Insured Person's admission in a hospital as an inpatient

Free Health Checkup	1% of previous sum insured per policy.The benefit is payable once after every block of three continuous claim free policy years
ICU Daily Rent Limit	Covered
Medical Screening	For insured person above the age of 45 years
Minimum Hospitalization Period	24 hours
No Claim Bonus	10% increase in cumulative bonus every claim free year upto a maximum of 100%. In case of claim 10% reduction in Cumulative Bonus
Non-Allopathic Treatments	Covered
Post Hospitalization Expenses	60 days
Pre-Existing Disease / Illness coverage	Covered after 48 days
